Darüber hinaus kann es als Lösung, Koagulans und Weichmacher für Carboxymethylcellulose verwendet werden. Als Material kann es zur Herstellung von Alkydpropylharz, Selendipropyl, Harnstoffpropylat usw. verwendet werden.
