Anwendung: Hauptsächlich als Lösung und chemisches Zwischenprodukt, als Spezialmittel für Anilin-Druckfarben, insbesondere zum Bedrucken von Polyolefin- und Polyamidfilmen.

Es kann als Lösung, Gerinnungsmittel und Weichmacher für Carboxymethylcellulose verwendet werden. Als Material kann es zur Herstellung von Alkyd - propylharz, Selendipropyl, Harnstoffpropylat usw.
